& Resolution: HR Benches
These graphs demonstrate the
range and resolution of the
HR4000 Spectrometer
and the HR2000 Spectrometer
each with a 5 µm Slit and various gratings.

Example: If the starting wavelength is
400 nm, then the range is ~437 nm, providing a 400-837 nm wavelength
range and 0.239 nm optical resolution (FWHM).
Gratings for the HR Bench that have groove
densities of 600 mm-1 are Grating H1, H2, H3, H4 and H14. |

Example: If the starting wavelength is
300 nm, then the range is ~215 nm, providing a 300-515 nm wavelength
range and 0.117 nm optical resolution (FWHM).
Gratings for the HR Bench that have
groove densities of 1200 mm-1 are Grating H5, H6 and H9. |

Example: If the starting wavelength is
700 nm, then the range is ~90 nm, providing a 700-790 nm wavelength
