Ocean Thin Films (OTF) has over a decade of experience in creating sensor systems through a partnership with Ocean Optics, inventor of the world's first miniature spectrometer. OTF has created filter arrays for over 100,000 spectrometers and optical sensing systems. Using our knowledge, Ocean Thin Films has created a development platform for both optical sensing and spectral imaging.


Multispectral Imaging OTF is a leader in Multispectral Imaging. Our development system uses a filter wheel to allow for the quick acquisition of images for various wavelength regions. Users can create an easily modified multispectral imaging system with a low cost of entry into the market. Ocean Thin Films can also apply dichroic filters directly to CCD and CMOS wafers, allowing for a compact imaging solution with spectral and spatial resolution.	Custom Applications Ocean Thin Films has the expertise to design and manufacture custom sensors by depositing patterned dichroic filters directly on active substrates. By creating wave bands at the pixel level, we can economically mass-produce a compact solid-state device.	Rapid Development & Prototyping Our Wi-Fi Hardware Development Kit reduces the development life cycle for optical sensing applications. The infrastructure provides you with the ability to measure color and output the data via Wi-Fi to handheld devices such as the iPhone or iPod touch. This platform can be tailored for a wide variety of applications; ranging from in-situ pathogen detection to in-line process measurements -- our team of engineers can rapidly design, develop and deliver a custom system complete with software.
