Microlithography Technician

Position Summary:
Working in the Lithography Department as an advanced Technician, the responsibilities will include photographing and developing mask aligned products as well as touch up and inspection of pattern defects. The individual will operate manual and/or automated photolithography production equipment. He/she will work on assignments complex in nature requiring considerable judgment and initiative. The position will also include daily problem resolution and improvement recommendations. This position will be located in the Golden, Colorado facility.

Essential Functions:
• Cleans various substrates/wafers using manual and/or automated cleaning equipment market
• Applies resist on various substrates by spin coating
• Exposes and develops photoresist using different exposure units, soaks and removes resist
• Inspects parts after every production step using microscopes
• Maintains cleanliness requirements of clean room
• Handles hazardous chemicals and chemical waste safely
• Enters process information into production computer databases
• Ensures that all details of a task are accomplished properly according to the established
procedures and quality protocols
• Works with Lithography supervision and production engineering
• Participates in continuous improvements efforts
• Executes proper equipment setup, accurate and complete documentation and logs, beginning
and end of shift procedures

Education, Training, and Skill Recommendations/Requirements::
• Two-three years microlithography experience in a laboratory or clean room environment
• Previous experience with inspection of microstructures using a microscope
• Safety training certification a plus
• Requires basic MS Word and MS Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Candidates must be detail oriented
